눈 신경의 가지형태 패턴에 집중하여 사람들이 자연 안에서 휴식할 수 있는 공간을 상상했다. 가지는 여러가지 형태를 띄고 있어 다양한 가지 기둥들을 세웠다. 또한 스케일이 다른 기둥들은 공간의 흥미로운 요소가 되거나 1층에서 2층로 올라갈 수 있는 통로 역할을 한다. 어떤 기둥은 나무의 뿌리부분처럼 연장되어 사람들에게 앉을 공간을 제공한다. 가지 사이로 들어오는 빛을 보여주는 공간이 있으면 좋을 것 같았다. 그래서 슬라브를 평면이 아닌 유연한 곡면을 사용했다. 그리고 가지 패턴을 이용해 1층과 2층을 서로 유동적으로 연결했다. 마치 하나의 숲이 될 수 있도록 공간을 구성했다. 또한 내외부의 구분을 명확히 두지 않아 사람들이 편하게 즐길 수 있도록 했다.
Focusing on the pattern of the branch shape of the eye nerve, I imagined a space where people could rest in nature. Branches have various shapes, so they have erected various pillars. In addition, pillars of different scales become interesting elements of space or serve as passages to go from the first floor to the second floor. Some pillars extend like the root of a tree, providing people with a space to sit down. I thought it would be nice to have a space to show the light coming through the branches. So, I used flexible curved surfaces rather than flat surfaces to the slab. And the first and second floors were fluidly connected to each other using branch patterns. The space was constructed so that it could become a single forest. In addition, there was no clear distinction between the inside and the outside, so that people could enjoy it comfortably.
